Right-click on the Sound icon from System Try and select Playback devices. After that, right-click anywhere in the provided window, check Show disabled devices option and select your sound device. Click the Set Default button next to Properties and double-click its icon. From the General tab select Use this device (enable) as Device usage and click OK. If it doesn't work, update your sound card drivers and reinstall the software.

In order to fix the issue, go to Start, type dxdiag and open the utility. Click the Sound tab, check your audio card model and download and install the latest drivers available from the developer's web page. Also, navigate to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound, open the Playback tab, right-click on a empty space and check the Show Disabled Devices option:
After that, select your sound device, lick the Set Default button and double-click the device icon. From the General tab select Use this device (enable) as Device usage and click OK. If you still have issues, I suggest you uninstall (Control Panel > Uninstall a program) and reinstall the Golden Al-Wafi Translator software.

You can't download the application anymore because it has been discontinued by the developer.
